O R D E R
Consequent upon West Bengal Ground Water Resources (Management, Control & Regulation) Act, 2005, coming into force, it has become necessary to streamline Investigational activities of this Organization, mainly the routine works of “Water Level Monitoring” through different Permanent Hydrograph Stations (P.H.S.) located at different districts of the State, performed in four schedule periods in a year. Thus for effective co-ordination and completion of the time frame scheduled Monitoring works, the following Re¬distribution of works against the executed officers in the different Blocks of the particular districts, is being made with immediate effect.

ORDER
In partial modification to this Office Order No 1268 Dated 7.7.2009, it has been decided that the routine works of "Water Level Monitoring” through different Permanent Hydrograph Station (P.H.S.) assigned to the Executive Engineer (A-l), Planning Division, Kolkata in the kolkata Area will henceforth be executed by the Executive Engineer (A-l), Data Processing Storage & Retrieval Wing attached to the Investigation, Planning & Design Circle, Kolkata. The Assistant Engineer (A-l) and Sub-Assistant (Civil) attached to the Investigation, Planning & Design Circle, Kolkata, will assist the concerned Executive Engineer for smooth execution of those works.
The Geologist, Geological Sub-Division Noll/E, Alipore, Kolkata will hand over all the reports, records etc. to the concerned Executive Engineer (A-l) who will now execute the above works. He will also accompany with the concerned Executive Engineer (A-l) during monitoring of the water level of Permanent Hydrograph Station (P.H.S.).
The Executive Engineer (A-l), Design Division, Kolkata will provide necessary fund to meet up the expenditure of the work from the available non-plan head
All concerned are being informed as such.
